The Betton Hills Neighborhood Association will be planting five trees, live oaks and cedars, near the holding pond at the north end of the park. This will not only increase privacy for adjacent landowners it will also reintroduce native species to our urban wilderness!

Boy Scout Troop 105 will be taught how to map trees and other park features by Susan Tanski of Tallahassee's Parks & Recreation Department. Trees, bridges, trail entrances, etc. will be identified and mapped in GPS format so that the BHNC&T can include the data in our trail maps.
